Kymberly and Stephen’s Wedding at Upwaltham Barns, West Sussex
In the heart of October, as the hills were painted in rich autumn hues, we had the absolute pleasure of capturing Kymberly & Stephen’s beautifully autumnal wedding day at the stunning Upwaltham Barns, nestled in the colourful South Downs.
Their palette of burnt oranges, deep reds and forest greens blended effortlessly with the season and the rustic charm of the barns. These rich, warm tones flowed through the florals and décor, perfectly complementing Stephen’s forest-green three-piece suit, his best man’s look and the bridesmaids’ floor length, silk dresses.
A beautifully heartwarming moment was Kymberly’s emotional bridal reveal to her grandad, filled with love, care and connection. From there, she gracefully walked down the aisle in her fairytale lace gown with delicate autumn details, to share heartfelt vows with Stephen, surrounded by beautiful florals, setting a romantic and intimate atmosphere for all their family and friends in Upwaltham’s romantic East Barn. This beautiful theme continued in the reception barn, where laughter, love and a delicious three-course meal were followed by speeches that were equal parts touching and hilarious.
Throughout the day, the love and companionship this couple shared with each other shone through. You could see the joy in their faces as they saw each other for the first time and then became husband and wife. As the sun began to set over the downs, we wanted to capture this emotion for them against stunning autumnal backdrops, bathed in the golden light of the season. With the sun set, the dance floor warming up, and everyone celebrating the love and happiness of this wonderful pair, their special day was brought to a perfect close.

Gaby & Jacob’s Summer Wedding at Upwaltham Barns, West Sussex
Gaby & Jacob’s June wedding was the epitome of a perfect English summer day. The celebrations began with a heartfelt ceremony at the charming countryside church in Fittleworth before heading through the rolling West Sussex lanes to the stunning Upwaltham Barns. From glorious sunshine to fields of daisies, and later those classic summer showers, their day had all the ingredients of a truly English wedding.
Their colour palette was inspired by the season itself, a mix of soft pastels tied together with timeless navy suits for Jacob and his groomsmen, and dusky blue bridesmaids’ dresses paired with pastel-toned bouquets. Gaby looked breathtaking in her off-the-shoulder gown with a traditional full skirt, the perfect blend of elegance, tradition, and modern style.
Adding to the magic was their sweet little daughter, who melted hearts in a delicate ivory flower girl dress that echoed her mummy’s gown. It was a truly special moment for their family, celebrating not just a marriage but the unity of their little family too.
The barns came alive with colour, pastel florals, classic bunting, and a courtyard filled with laughter and love as guests enjoyed celebratory drinks and stories. Later, everyone gathered for a delicious summer BBQ created by the fantastic team at Nibbles2Nosh, followed by dancing the night away as rain tapped softly on the barn roof.
We couldn’t resist taking Gaby & Jacob up the hill behind the barns, capturing portraits among the daisies just before the clouds rolled in, giving them not only the sunshine moments but also the dramatic skies that perfectly told the story of their day. A truly magical English summer wedding from start to finish.

Tanya & Charlie’s Summer Wedding at Upwaltham Barns, West Sussex.
As late May turned spring into summer, we had the joy of capturing Tanya & Charlie’s wedding at the ever-beautiful Upwaltham Barns, nestled in the heart of the rolling South Downs. With its rustic charm and warm, family-run atmosphere, it was the perfect setting for a couple as relaxed and down-to-earth as these two.
Their colour palette of misty blue and beige blended effortlessly with the countryside surroundings and the barn’s natural textures. Tanya looked stunning in a gown that was the perfect mix of sophistication and fun with its clean lines, a striking neckline, and a playful side split that echoed her joyful, easygoing nature. Charlie looked effortlessly sharp in a natural-toned three-piece suit, a stylish choice that perfectly complemented the soft blue tones worn by the bridesmaids.
After a heartwarming ceremony surrounded by their loved ones, guests moved into the sunlit courtyard, blooming with late spring colour to sip on bubbles, enjoy delicious canapés and soak up the relaxed atmosphere while the couple shared smiles and laughter with their guests.
With the wild daisies in full bloom on the hill behind the barns, we couldn’t resist sneaking off with the bridal party to capture some timeless portraits and a few fun-filled, laughter-packed moments too. The rolling hills, fresh air and youthful energy made for the dreamiest setting and gave us a gallery full of joyful, light-filled images that truly reflect Tanya & Charlie’s connection.
After a quiet moment in the meadow, the newlyweds were ready to pop on their dancing shoes and hit the floor… and they never left it! With an incredible DJ set and a buzzing dance floor, the night ended just as it began: full of joy, energy and unforgettable memories.
